My plant needs water and the sun.

Space Art

This week Room 13 made cool pictures about space. We drew and painted a rockets and planet. We had to be careful, take our time and work hard. We learnt it was OK to make mistakes. To finish off we added glitter. We feel amazing about our pictures,

Bush Walk

We went to get some sticks to make some houses. I played with my friends. I felt happy because we went to the bush.

Stardome

We went to see the moon at the Stardome, Then we played outside at the park. My favourite was the space Lego.

Shadows

The sun makes the shadow. When you go outside you find the sun. God made the shadow.

My Rocket

My rocket is flying away from New Zealand. They travel to another planet. They passed the stars.

The Sun

The sun is floating up in space. The sun is the largest star. We can’t go to the sun because we will get burnt.

Superhero

The superheroes went to fight the bad guys. They will save the world and help people.

Matariki

On Matariki Day I drew waves in the sand. I rubbed out the pictures. I had fun. We ate delicious food. We ate cake. It was fun there.

Tamarereti Animation

We have been learning the story of Tamarereti. Here is my animation I made with Hyperstudio.

Beside Lake Taupo was a village. In the lake there lived a scary Taniwha who would eat people when it was dark. There were no stars in the sky at night - which made night time very dangerous.

One day Tamarereti went fishing in his waka and he was blown by the wind to the other side of the lake.

After a long sleep, the sky was dark. Tamarereti was afraid of the Taniwha - but he had an idea.

On the beach lay many shiny pebbles. He gathered the pebbles. Tamarereti threw the pebbles into the night sky where they became stars.

Now the sky was too bright for the Taniwha and he stayed hidden.

Tamarereti made it safely home again.

Lego Picture Prompt Story

The pirates are going to burn the village down. They set the house on fire.

Forces on a kite

Gravity is the force that pulls things to the earth.
Drag is the force that slows things down.
Thrust is the force thaty makes things move.
Lift is the force that pushes things up.

Tamarereti

Tamarereti went fishing and he cooked his fish. The wind pushed his waka. The taniwha came and Tamarereti chucked the stars in the sky. The taniwha was scared of the stars.

Beach Trip

I went to the beach with my class. We chucked clay. It was fun as.

Swimming

I like swimming. Swimming is fun. The teacher teaches us how to swim.a

Rain

I can  see the rain making puddles.

I went to the beach and I chucked sand at Mr Moran.

On Wednesday we went to to the creek to pick up rubbish.  I saw a horse
